For Utopian Hours, the AA Interprofessional Studio (AAIS) presents a spatial performance bringing together movement, sound, image and inflatable space. Drawing on elements of previous AAIS projects and reconfigured for Turin, the intervention shifts between installation, choreography and collective experience.
AAIS is the MA/MFA in Spatial Performance and Design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, founded and led by Theo Lorenz and Prof. Dr. Tanja Siems (BUW). Working across architecture, performance, art, film, music and other creative practices, AAIS develops its work through applied projects and international collaborations. This interprofessional approach is also explored in /People: At Home in More Than One Discipline, published by Actar.
The performance is performed and produced by Ying Tong, Xiaoke Ding and Bianca Lee.
