John Paget is a creative entrepreneur, award-winning documentary filmmaker and urbanist. Paget’s first films on Route 66 profiled American main street towns and contributed to a renaissance of tourism and preservation along the historic highway. Originally from Olympia, Washington, Paget moved to Buffalo, New York in 2005, where he produced a series of award-winning films that helped to catalyze the revitalization of a once-moribund rustbelt city. He founded First+Main Films with a mission to empower and inspire communities through storytelling and film. In addition to this ongoing film production work, Paget co-founded and serves as creative director for the Better Cities Film Festival.
