Jude Barber

Architect Director, Collective Architecture

Jude Barber is an architect who studied at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and at the Ecole d’Architecture in Clermont-Ferrand. She worked in Paris at Dominique Perrault Architects (1994-1995), in Edinburgh at Malcolm Fraser Architects (1997-2000) and at Reiach and Hall Architects (2000-2004).

The studio where she now works in Glasgow as Architect-Director, Collective Architecture, has been nominated “Architect of the Year” at the 2018 AJ Awards. The studio is owned by its own employees and is founded on principles of creative liberty, equity and sustainability, and has many active projects in the civic, residential and cultural sectors.
