Mariana Valverde

Mariana Valverde is an internationally recognised expert in the fields of urban law and governance. Author of several publications, among which Everyday law on the street: city governance in an age of diversity (Chicago University Press, 2012), an investigation on the impact of public policies in Toronto. She is currently a professor at the Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies of Toronto University and a member of the Royal Society of Canada.
