The slow-life story of small towns and mid-sized cities is worn out. The Utopian Hours roundtable proposes a different starting point. A new mapping of Italy’s second-tier cities to imagine new economic and demographic corridors — such as the potential “Puglia axis” Brindisi-Bari-Barletta, which in population and GDP already exceeds single large cities — and to consider work, mobility and development opportunities.
