Guest city: Milan!
The first guest city of the new Utopian Hours format could only be Milan, which has always been linked to Turin by a relationship of collaboration and mutual inspiration. In the Sunday afternoon panel, some of the protagonists of the city’s cultural and entrepreneurial life will dialogue with the co-directors of the festival to recount the successful experiences that are contributing to the definition of an increasingly attractive and contemporary city.
A moment of confrontation that aims to provide interesting insights for our city as well.

Pierfrancesco Maran
An elected official with important experience on complex fronts -mobility, environment, urban planning, greenery, agriculture- Pierfrancesco Maran has a leading role in the management of Milan's urban policies. During his terms in office, he has managed the activation of Area C, the liberalisation of car sharing, the regeneration of the Scali Ferroviari and the start of works on the Metro 4. This year he published his first book, 'The Visible Cities', which recounts the transformations of Milan over the last ten years and the changes in the city after the pandemic.

Stefano Mirti
Progettista, insegnante, partner di IdLab. Da anni Stefano Mirti è impegnato sulle nuove frontiere dell’insegnamento: Design 101, Relational Design, e molti altri progetti didattici e formativi. Dei tanti progetti, l'ultimo uscito è Moodboard (2022), un gioco di carte che è anche un manifesto teorico. Dal settembre 2017 è direttore della Scuola Superiore di Arte Applicata del Castello Sforzesco a Milano. Dal luglio 2019 è presidente della Fondazione Milano.
