Brian Evans is a professor of Urbanism+Landscape at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and at the Glasgow School of Art. He is the Director of the Glasgow Urban Laboratory. In 2019 he became Glasgow City Urbanist, covering an important counseling role on the planning of urban spaces. Evans wrote numerous articles and books on design and landscape planning: his main interests revolve around the future of cities and ecology.
