Marina Pugliese is an art historian and museum specialist with over 15 years of international experience in the fields of art history, anthropology and education. She is internationally known as a scholar of contemporary art conservation.
She holds a PhD in Art History (University of Udine) and a Masters in Contemporary Art History and Museology (University of Genoa). She has received scholarships and funding from Université Paris 1, the Accademia dei Lincei in Rome and the Getty Conservation Institute.
In July 2015, Marina moved to the Bay Area where she curated a contemporary art programme for the Italian Cultural Institute. Since July 2020, she has been working for the City of Milan as head of public art.
