An elected official with important experience on complex fronts -mobility, environment, urban planning, greenery, agriculture- Pierfrancesco Maran has a leading role in the management of Milan’s urban policies. During his terms in office, he has managed the activation of Area C, the liberalisation of car sharing, the regeneration of the Scali Ferroviari and the start of works on the Metro 4. This year he published his first book, ‘The Visible Cities’, which recounts the transformations of Milan over the last ten years and the changes in the city after the pandemic.
