Very soon Earth will become an inhospitable place. Mars City Design is all about looking into the future to shape cities beyond our planet.

The visionary mind behind this project is Vera Mulyani, whose mission is to combine design and innovation to engineer life on Mars. Mulyani is Mars Systems Engineering Professor at Loyola Marymount University in California and previously worked as an architect on projects for the Louvre Museum in Paris and the Cour Visconti. When not engaged in looking at possible cities beyond our planet, Mulyani works on smart cities and sustainable urban design.
