Placemaking Talks

Placemaking Talks

A debate among experts, innovators, and makers to tackle some of the most pressing issues related to the future of our cities.
Who are the key players in city-making in Italy? What are their strategies for a more equitable urban future? These questions will be addressed during the seven closed-door roundtables — but that’s not all. The festival will also give a platform to professionals and companies through a panel to explore the current direction of the debate on major urban issues in Italy.
On the stage at La Centrale, three special guests, three makers, and urban experts, will share —including through insights from their recent publications— what we can do to concretely envision a new approach to city making. The speakers will be Valeria Lorenzelli (author of Placemaking, Il Sole 24 Ore), Michele D’Alena (author of Fare Assieme, Egea), and Federico Parolotto (CEO of MIC-HUB).
