Emily Moody is the Director for Community Engagement for the Phoenix Jacksonville Arts + Innovation District (PHX-JAX). Her passion for creating vibrant arts & culture scenes has led to a 20 year career creatively placemaking in her home city of Jacksonville. At PHX-JAX, she leads weekly artist meetups, monthly flea markets, and gathers community members of diverse backgrounds for common goals envisioning a sustainable and regenerative future of Jax. Emily has also helped launch the Friends of Phoenix non-profit committed to food security, arts & innovation, and financial equity.
