In the first part of Utopian Hours Miami Edition a multi-voice panel “Making Miami” with some of the key actors of the local cultural, creative and entrepreneurial life. A collective reflection to anticipate new opportunities and get in touch with the most urgent challenges and urban innovations that are reshaping Miami.
On stage, Tony Cho —pioneer of regenerative placemaking and founder of Future of Cities— will meet Matt Haggman, Executive Vice President at the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, who is at the forefront of defining the city’s next economic strategies.
With them Ximena Caminos, cultural placemaker and founder of The ReefLine, The Underline’s project activator Meg Daly and Raymond Fort, Vice President of one of the most renowned design studios in town — Arquitectonica.
Through the story of some spectacular urban transformation and the experiences of those who are working to improve their city, we will try to understand the near future of Miami.
