The Italian social enterprise Stratosferica is transforming Turin with participated, bottom-up and codesigned interventions.
Stratosferca’s co-founder Luca Ballarini will share the insights and learnings behind the globally acclaimed temporary placemaking project Precollinear Park – the transformation of a formed tramline into an urban linear park ー and the permanent upgrading of the previously marginal area of Corso Farini.
Citizen making, community, care of public spaces and international partnerships are the keywords. A lecture on how it’s possible for common citizens to get together with an idea and significantly improve the city they live in.
